Wow–it’s a little crazy for me to be sitting here and thinking that I’m 8 weeks into my Nutrisystem weight-loss program.   Looking back at my first week, I’m still convinced that one of the biggest factors in getting this far is motivation.  I really want to be successful!

I’m asked alot about the Nutrisystem food.  Is it good?  The answer is yes.  For breakfast, some of my favorites are the pancakes (I add strawberries and sugar-free syrup) and the cereals, which are pre-portioned.  For lunch, I like the Tuna Salad, which I put right on top of my lettuce.  For dinner, I love the Flame Broiled Beef Patty and Grilled Chicken Breast.  And for dessert, my favorites are the Golden Pound Cake and the Peppermint Cookie Patty.  The point is, I’m definitely not feeling deprived.

The best thing about being on Nutrisystem is that I’m really trying to have a new relationship with food and exercise.  I have to accept that I have to eat vegetables and fruit every day.  And like it or not, I have to move my body.  This week I exercised 4 times for an hour each time. I’m hoping that the changes I’m making will enable me to stay on a healthier track for the rest of my life.
