Color Definition is is the goal of the collection and the products work together in harmony to create a fall look of classic elegance. That’s exactly what comes to mind when I think of Clarins.. pretty, elegant, colors that don’t overpower.

The Clarins Fall 2011 Color Collection includes:

Colour Definition 3D Radiance Face Powder:  This lightweight powder has a raised “shingle effect” that combines beige, pink and peach to complement every skin tone for highlighting and contouring the cheek bones.  $35

Eye Quartet Mineral Palette:  Six new eye shadow quads give endless options.  Each quad contains 1 highlighter shade, 2 base shades and 1 contour shade.  The mineral formula can be applied wet or dry.  I was able to try the 05 Violet Quad and found a much more intense effect when using it wet.  I also love using the contour shade as an eyeliner (with a wet brush).  Shades include 01 Pastels, 02 Nudes, 03 Rosewood, 04 Indigo, 05 Violet and 06 Graphites. $40

Instant Definition Mascara:  This new mascara has a unique dual fiber brush that provides volume and definition.  It took a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but the results are impressive.  The mascara itself seemed a little “wet” as I applied it and I felt like I had to let it set/dry.  I did love the effect, though and the Intense Black shade is fabulous.  $24

Instant Liner (Limited Edition) – Liquid eyeliner is a key trend for Fall makeup.  This eyeliner has a foam applicator and one of the finest-points I’ve seen yet, which allows for a precise application.  $26

Joli Rouge Lipstick:  In two shades, 732 Grenadine and 733 Fig, combines intense hydration and rich colour.  $24

Rouge Prodige Lipstick: Long-wear formula with all day comfort.  In five shades – 701 Tender Rose, 702 Paradise Pink, 703 Miami Pink, 706 Subtle Rose, 708 Natural Rose.  $24
