Happy New Year! Now that the holidays are over,  it will be nice to re-focus on healthy eating without the pressure of get-togethers where the emphasis is on food. One of the keys to my success on Nutrisystem has been getting into a routine where I plan what I eat, eat at regular intervals and log my food using the app. Read on for more…

It seems that whenever I’ve stumbled on Nutrisystem, I can trace it to a breakdown in one of those 3 things. For me, the holidays are full of pitfalls that usually include eating what I hadn’t planned out, eating off-schedule and/or eating something that can’t be accounted for in the Nutrisystem app. This past week I’ve really tried to get back to a normal schedule, eat clean and log my food. We’ve been out of town the past few days, but overall I’ve felt in control.

If you’re like me, starting (or continuing) on a healthy eating/weight loss plan will be one of your goals.  I’m not a big fan of “resolutions”, but I’m more determined than ever to realize my health and fitness goals this year. I plan to stay on Nutrisystem–when I think back to where I was at last New Year’s Day, being on Nutrisystem has changed my life.  My big “new” goal this year is to incorporate more exercise and toning into my fitness plan.

This week, I’ve lost 1 lb., making my total weight loss to date 67  lbs. If you recall, my goal for this week was actually only to maintain–I wasn’t going to even stress about trying to lose. So I’m happy that I was able to lose a pound, too.  If you would like to lose weight and eat healthier, visit Nutrisystem online today—it’s a great time to make the decision to eat healthier! Are you making any health or exercise commitments this year? Let’s work together–share what you’re doing in the comments!
