Named for the precious beauty of Spring, the Printemps Precieux de CHANEL Collection celebrates Gabrielle Chanel’s codes of simplicity and sophistication. It’s makeup that’s feminine, colorful and very wearable for spring. Read on for more…
Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup Peter Philips channels the season’s splendor with a collection of contrasts. Elegant neutrals complement soft-to-sultry pinks on face and lips, while nails are adorned with vivid polish. It’s the perfect wakeup call for dull winter complexions!
Highlights of the Printemps Precieux de CHANEL Collection include:
Embossed with iconic emblems of CHANEL, this limited-edition illuminating powder ($68) helps to reflect light and create a luminous finish. The color is a blend of soft peach and warm beige shades. For Spring and Summer, I prefer a luminizing powder over a traditional pressed, finishing powder. Although a sponge brush is included, I prefer my MAC 187 brush for a lighter application.
The Raffinement eye shadow quad is an ultra-feminine palette of refined beiges and velvety browns; a seasonless palette for subtle-to-seductive eye looks. $59.00
JOUES CONTRASTE Powder Blush
I adore CHANEL Blush; it’s one of the best. For spring, Frivole ($43), a ripe-apricot shade reveals refined cheeks and a softly sculpted face.
LE VERNIS Nail Colour
It wouldn’t be a CHANEL makeup collection if I didn’t swoon over Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27) and Spring doesn’t disappoint. Three shades…classic pink (Emprise), impassioned pink-red (Fracas) and haute brown (Accessoire). You need each one. I love the formula and these are colours that you will wear all spring and beyond.
Above, I’ve swatched Accessoiore, and although it’s called “brown”, as with most CHANEL colours, it’s more complex than that. Sometimes it looks a little brick-red; sometimes, I swear there are purple tones. And that’s what makes me love CHANEL Le Vernis so.
