Youthful, elegant, and utterly feminine, pink inspires a tender makeup palette with a fresh, rebellious twist. The Chanel Maquillage Croisière de Chanel Collection, applied to the eyes, lips and nails, or dusted onto the cheeks reveals a face of dewy freshness. Read on for more…

CHANEL brings us a limited-edition collection of pink-based products, sure to brighten up even the most sallow of winter skins. Universally flattering, it’s hard to go wrong with picking up any of the delicate-hues in this collection. The collection is a mixture of new, limited-edition shades and a few pieces that are re-promotes from the existing collection. Nothing wrong with adding in some of the classics!

The Chanel Maquillage Croisière de Chanel  Collection includes:

The star of the collection, the Mouche de Beauté Illuminating Powder is a new, limited-edition rose-gold powder , which delicately illuminates the angles of the face with an exquisite effect. This covetable collectable is embossed with a sumptuous decorative motif and encased in signature black ceramic. I so much prefer this shade to a straight-up gold powder; it’s warmer on the face. Gorgeous! $80.

Ombrelle Essentiele is a long-lasting cream-to-powder eyeshadow with a bit of shimmer, in new, limited-edition Rose Favorite. $28.50.

Inimitable Mascara (permanent) in Noir, $30.

Joues Contraste Blush in Rose Petale is a permanent part of the line (not new for this collection). However, this gorgeous rose shade should be part of everyone’s makeup collection. Love! $43.

Rouge Coco Shine in Boy is also part of the permanent collection. A beautiful, soft pink, this conditioning lip color is perfect for year-round wear. $34.

Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer in Natural (permanent), $29.

Le Vernis in Ballerina (permanent), $27.

I received several of the products in this collection to preview and they are truly gorgeous. A pink collection for spring? Yes, please! The Mouche de Beauté Illuminating Powder is an exquisite highlighting powder, adding a delicate touch of spun-rose-gold shimmer to the cheekbones. The embossed pattern makes it almost too pretty to use, but once you’ve dipped into and tried it, resistance is futile.

I also checked out the Rose Petale Blush and while we all have a pink blush in our collection, this shade is absolute perfection. Especially if you have trouble with with some pinks being too blue, some too coral–I’d encourage you to try this shade out. I bet it works! Lastly, Rouge Coco Shine in Boy is a no-brainer for me. Feels great on the lips, with a natural pink shade that you’ll wear forever. Love this collection!
