In the past year, NARS has overhauled their skin care, introduced a Tinted Moisturizer that I can’t live without, and now introduces the Radiant Creamy Concealer Collection. The common denominator here is that each product focuses on the skin. Read on for more…

My first impression when trying a concealer from the  NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Collection, was how soft and extremely silky this concealer feels on the skin. Because there are hydrating skincare benefits, the Radiant Creamy Concealer blends right in to camouflages darkness under the eyes and hide imperfections.  The coverage is buildable; when first applied, I’d consider it medium coverage. If you need more, apply, blend and build. Overall, I think this is an excellent concealer, yes, better than others I have in my makeup drawer.

My only frustration is shade selection–and it’s a problem I have all the time, so I can’t totally fault NARS. In looking at online swatches, I initially selected Honey as being a good match to my skintone. For reference, I wear Alaska in the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. For during the winter, Vanilla is definitely the better shade, as I am more yellow-based than peach. The Honey shade looks peachy-pink on me–totally wrong.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers ($28) are available in 10 shades. You can find the collection at NARS flagship boutiques and on
