Do you look like it’s been ages since you’ve gotten a good 8 hours of sleep? Orlane has launched Anti-Fatigue Absolute Radiance Cream, a cream designed to conquer both biological and environmental stressors on our skin. Faking my beauty sleep? Sign me up!

In addition to making us look tired, environmental stressors are some of the leading causes of premature aging.  This high-tech beauty cream takes it’s inspiration from the 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine, awarded for research into the role played by telomeres in protecting the chromosomes. Without getting too technical, telomeres are DNA fragments located at the extremities of the chromosomes they protect. Telomeres protect against both the effects of time and the damage caused by oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is one of the leading causes of DNA cell mutation, which plays a role in premature aging.

I’ve been using Orlane Anti-Fatigue Absolute Radiance Cream nightly for the past couple of months and I really believe that not only has it helped keep my skin adequately hydrated through the winter, but it’s made a significant impact on how my skin looks and feels. I notice improved brightness — it just looks better and more radiant. It has a lovely, silky feel when you apply it and it’s not heavy or greasy. My combination skin wouldn’t tolerate that.

The ingredients in Orlane Anti-Fatigue Absolute Radiance Cream include Shea nut extract, which neutralizes pollutants by limiting inflammation. Ginseng and Gingko Biloba remedy fatigue, increase microcirculation and protect against environmental toxins. Silk tree extract reactivates energy production at the cellular level. In addition, peptides, soy fiber and sodium hyaluronate help to  detoxify, firm, hydrate and energize cells. Bottom line for me? I love this cream!

Orlane Anti-Fatigue Absolute Radiance Cream retails at $195 and is available at Neiman Marcus. It’s a luxury cream and a splurge, but one that I would repurchase.
