The Urban Decay Naked3 Palette has (finally) arrived and it hasn’t disappointed. The Naked3 Palette has been creating quite the sensation online, with teases on the UD Facebook page and a few lucky bloggers getting early previews. Now it’s out and to see it in person, it’s absolutely stunning.
Neutral eyeshadows have been around forever, but there is something about the colors and textures of these NAKED palettes that are irresistable. I was obsessed with the NAKED2 palette and really didn’t think there was room for improvement. But then NAKED 3 came out, in all it’s rose-gold glory. And I’m obsessing again.
The NAKED 3 Palette contains 12 new eyeshadow shades. Picking favorite shades is next to impossible, but at this point, I’m really loving Buzz (a metallic rose shimmer silver micro-glitter), Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte) and Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer with pink tones). In addition to the 12 eyeshadow shades, there is a double ended Good Karma Shadow – Blender Brush and a sampler of Eyeshadow Primer Potion with all four formulas. As you’d expect, the pigmentation and color-payoff of the eyeshadow is excellent, even to the palest color, Strange. The NAKED3 Palette sells for $52.
I’m also loving the Naked 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. There are four available and if you can, get them all because they’re pretty sweet. Each pencil coordinates with a Naked palette and has the same amazing formula as the other 24/7 pencils. Easy to apply, waterproof, stay-all-day color. My favorite duo is Perversion + Pistol, which is blackest black matte + light gray-brown shimmer and the match to NAKED2. Each Naked 24/7 Glide-On Double-Ended Pencil is $16.
As if there wasn’t enough Naked love to go around, Urban Decay has launched two nail polishes to coincide with the release of NAKED3. These polishes are exceptional; a great brush, long-wear formula and edgy colors. Blackheart is a smoky greige that seems to change color in front of your eyes. Sometimes taupe, sometimes gray, sometimes purple. Love! Zodiac is also gorgeous; it’s a smoky green with gold, green and blue 3-D micro-glitter. While I’m usually not a fan of the green family, this one is beautiful. Get.Them.Both. The Nail Colors retail at $15 and if you are having a hard time thinking of a gift for a teenager, a set of these polishes are perfect. One look at the very cool skull on the top of the bottle will make these the favorite present, guaranteed.
At this point, because of demand, you’re going to have to keep checking, but NAKED3 is available at Sephora, ULTA, select Macy’s, beauty.com and urbandecay.com. Are you a fan of the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette? Are you planning on picking up any of the other pieces? Let me know in the comments!
