Retinols are one of the most effective anti-aging treatments for your skin. But many can’t tolerate the treatment because of irritation. If you fall into that category, or are looking or an anti-aging treatment that is gentle and still gives benefits, then read on!

I’m always on the lookout for a retinol product that doesn’t dry out my skin, make it itch, or generally make it unpleasant to use. You really shouldn’t have to put up with that in today’s sophisticated skincare market. Amarte Wonder Cream has been a pleasant discovery.

The formula is based on eastern skin care (think Korean heritage and philosophy) but with the technology of Western dermatology. Great combination! Amarte has a luxurious look and feel to it, plus has a formula that includes nan-encapsulated 1.0% retinol. I’ve been using Amarte Wonder Cream for about a month and honestly, have had no irritation, redness or drying out of my skin. Even with as harsh as this winter has been!

Other ingredients in the Amarte Wonder Cream formula include pearl powder, caviar extract, mushroom emollient, peptides, argan kernal oil, sodium hyaluronate (to hydrate) and more. I’m really impressed by the formula. It has many ingredients that help maintain the moisture level of the skin, while others provide anti-aging benefits. Over time, Amarte Wonder Cream should help reduce fine lines and wrinkles and restore radiance.

I also tested the Amarte Eyeconic Eye Cream, which has a small percentage of nano-encapsulated retinol (3.8%) and while I can generally tolerate retinols on my face, my eye area is another story. I’m happy to report I had no sensitivity or irritation while using the Eye Cream (.7 fl. oz., $55).

Amarte Wonder Cream (2.7 oz., $97) is available at Have you had issues tolerating retinols before? These skin care treatments might be an option for you!
