Bobbi Brown sums up the new Nectar & Nude Collection for Spring this way: “A soft cheek, nude eye and flattering nectar lip—the ultimate beach to cocktail look.” This is easily one of the prettiest collections that I’ve seen from Bobbi Brown–and that’s saying a lot, as I’ve been a fan of the line for as long as I can remember.
In this collection, Bobbi pairs her favorite nudes with stunning nectars. It would be easy to think that the neutral shades were something that you’ve seen before, but these pairings really work. The shades in the collection range from apricot nectars to fresh pink corals to true peaches so there is a hue that is perfect for everyone. Used together or separately, the Nectar & Nude Collection is a fresh take on Bobbi’s neutrals.
The Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Collection includes:
The Nectar & Nude Eyeshadow Palette $48
The Nectar & Nude Eyeshadow Palette features 6 eye shadow shades, including Pale Cream, Soft Buff, Golden Bronze Metallic, Pink Bellini Sparkle, Earth and Rich Caviar. These colors have good pigmentation and are wearable year around, but look especially pretty and fresh for spring and summer.
I haven’t seen this Shimmer Brick yet in person, but the colors include this season’s edition features golden nectars, warm taupes, and icy coral-pink pearl pigments. I like the mix of warm and cool tones making it easy to wear.
This favorite can be worn on lips and cheeks. I have several Pot Rouge shades, but to be honest, I like this pink-coral shade the best. I apply with my ringfinger and build up color intensity. I like to travel with Pot Rouge, too, since it’s so versatile.
Lip Gloss, $25
Two shades of Lip Gloss in Nectar and Nude Pink, plus Bare Peach High Shimmer Lip Gloss. Will there ever be a time when I don’t say “get them all”? If I had to pick one, I’d go with Nectar–such a juicy, coral shade, followed by right-on-trend Nude Pink. Love!
Nail Polish, $15
There are two nail polishes in this collection: Nectar (cream) and Bare Peach (glitter). Nectar is a true coral with a slight pink undertone, so it should be easy to wear no matter your skin tone. I ordered Nectar during Friends & Family but not Bare Peach–and now I have buyer’s regret, because it looks so pretty online. I tried Chrome, from the Old Hollywood Collection (review) over Nectar, but I didn’t love it, so if you want a glitter shade for an accent nail, get Bare Peach. The Bobbi Brown Nail Polish Formula wears really well on me, usually a minimum of 5 days with no chipping.
The Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Collection for Spring is available now in department stores including Nordstrom and at bobbibrowncosmetics.com. Have you purchased anything in this collection yet? It’s stunning!
