CND is in a tropical mood with the new Paradise Collection for the VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish line. Have you heard about VINYLUX™ yet? VINYLUX is a revolutionary weekly polish system offering durable, high-shine and week-long wear–with no need for a base coat.

The introduction of the Paradise Collection seemed the perfect time to get acquainted with VINYLUX; summer is not a time that I want to be spending hours on my nails!

The colors in the Paradise Collection include: Bicycle Yellow, Electric Orange, Sultry Sunset, Lush Tropics, Cerulean Sea and Tango Passion. I picked Cerulean Sea (with an Electric Orange accent nail) for my first VINYLUX manicure. I couldn’t believe how easy the process is. Two steps!

You apply two thin coats of VINYLUXWeekly Polish to a bare nail; there is no base coat. This made me a little nervous, since I never apply polish without a base coat. After the polish, you apply the VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat and let it dry. The drying time is about 8 1/2 minutes; about half of what you would expect from “regular” nail polish.

What I was most impressed with was the lack of chipping and the durability of the VINYLUX manicure. See for yourself; I took a photo on Day 1 (application day) and Day 7. There was no photo editing, no polish touchups. The only wear that I experienced was on nail tips; I consider that normal. Removal is easy and quick with an acetone nail polish remover. I had no problems.

The suggested retail price for VINYLUX Weekly Polish Color Coat and VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat is $9.90 each. VINYLUX is available as a salon service and for individual purchase in select salons worldwide.  You can get more information at I really liked the VINYLUX Weekly Polish; if you’re a person that doesn’t want to spend alot of time on her nails, this is an excellent system.
