This season, AERIN introduces new products in the Essentials Collection. The perfect blend of fresh, new favorites and easy, must-have classics create a perfectly tailored daily beauty routine that easily fits into a stylish lifestyle. Accompanying the release of new Essentials, are two new, beautiful fragrances.
Highlights of the AERIN Essentials Collection include:
AERIN Rose Lip Balm, $30
The new Rose Lip Balm provides nourishing moisture, while helping to repair fine dry lines. This is that lip balm that you want to take with you everywhere, providing just a hint of barely-there pink color. And the delicate, calming scent of AERIN’s signature floral infusion is divine.
In the Weekend Palette, which is the one I tried, the overall look is natural. This palette resonated with me, because on the weekend, I do tend to favor a more relaxed, easy makeup look. Included are two eyeshadows in Simplicity and Cocoa; two cheek shades in Pretty Bronze and Golden Glow; two Rose Balm Lipstick shades in Pale Pink Whisper and Coral Cabana and Multicolor for Lips & Cheeks adds a wash of natural color anywhere you need it. This is one of those palettes that is perfect for travel. The overall look is pretty, yet pulled together.
The Weekday Palette focuses on a bold neutral look, with pops of pink. I’d call this a more “cool” toned palette. Cheek colors include pale pink Petal and Beam, while Multi-Tasking Marvel Multi Color for Lips & Cheeks adds a natural glow. Eyeshadows include Grayge and Graphite, lip colors include Rose Balm Lipstick in Geranium or Liebling.
Two shades in Weekend and Weekday. I tried Weekday, which I’d describe as a nude, “your lips but better” shade. This lip gloss is non-sticky, which I love and is very conditioning. In addition, there is a slight floral note. The Weekend Lip Gloss is naturally sheer with golden flecks. So pretty!
There are two new additions to the AERIN Beauty fragrance collection. Waterlily Sun Eau de Parfum ($110) is a floral watery scent with topnotes of Sicilian Bergamot and Lush Dewy Greens, a floral heart and musky drydown. The fragrance was inspired by Aerin’s trips to Giverny, France as a child. I think of this as a “weekday” fragrance that could easily be worn to work or in a professional setting.
Iris Meadow Eau de Parfum ($110) has more of a casual, weekend feel. A floral, with green notes, the scent opens with Mandarin and Blackcurrant, middle notes of Iris and Jasmine and a warm, woody musk base. Of the two fragrances, I found this to be little softer, less assertive. I adore the AERIN fragrance bottles and packaging–they’re exquisite!
The AERIN Essentials Collection and AERIN Beauty fragrances are available at select retailers and Neiman Marcus, AERIN.com and EsteeLauder.com. Have you tried the AERIN Essentials line yet? Let me know in the comments!
