The Bouqs Peace bouquet

Things have been pretty crazy lately here at Beauty411; building a new house and trying to keep it all together can be stressful that way. So I’ve been trying to find ways to pamper myself–without breaking the bank. I recently had the opportunity to try Bouqs…an online floral delivery service…a totally stressless way to order flowers.

My dad operated his own Flower shop, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to flowers. I feel like I have a good eye for what constitutes quality. I’ve used other online floral services before (and have received flowers this way, too) and the results are always a mixed bag.

With Bouqs, the process is simple. I went to the website, picked out the classic Peace Bouquet ($40), since I love white roses. This option includes 12 white roses and two sprigs of purple accent flowers. Flowers are shipped straight from the farm, and there was about a 6 day period from when I placed my order to actual delivery.  They’ve since added Next Day service, which is what I would opt for, given the delicate nature of flowers.

These are photos I took of the packaging and my bouquet once I placed it in a vase:

Overall, my roses were packaged very well and arrived in great shape. What impressed me most though, was that they literally lasted a week. They opened beautifully and I didn’t have any that prematurely drooped. I would use the Bouqs service again, because of the ease of ordering, flat rate pricing and the fact that the flowers are eco-friendly and grown responsibly.

To check out Bouqs, head to where you’ll find dozens of options including special occasion bouquets, concierge services and more. Because sometimes you need to brighten your own day!

Have you ever used an online flower delivery service? What was your experience like?
