The Guerlain Les Tendres Collection for Spring is all about bringing lightness and baby-soft color. Without question, my favorite piece in this collection is the Météorites Baby Glow. That is my must-have, don’t miss out product! Météorites Baby Glow adds lightness and luminosity to the face, along with SPF 25; you know I’m all over that. In a way, it’s the complement to Terracotta Joli Teint Healthy Glow Foundation (review), only that gives a more bronzed glow.
Météorites Baby Glow comes in three shades: Light, Medium and Dark. I’ve been using the Medium and find that it gives a sheer to light coverage, with radiance. It’s a gorgeous makeup that enhances your skin, rather than hides it. No sparkly finish, just a lit-from-within look. Météorites Baby Glow is scented–like the powder. For me, that’s a bonus. Love!
Another product that stood out for me in this collection is the Météorites Perles de Blush. The pictures that I saw online were so beautiful that I had to order it. And for someone who bought Météorites Perles with her first “real” paycheck, I was so excited at the thought of a blush. Truthfully, I feel a little conflicted over the Météorites Perles de Blush. The blush is extremely pigmented–you only need the lightest touch for beautiful color. What I didn’t expect was the small, cardboard container and even tinier perles. So while I don’t want this to be a “womp womp”, I would want you to know what to expect.
And if you haven’t tried Guerlain nail polish, I can highly recommend it. The formula and especially the brush, are among my favorites. Shown above, Baby Rose is that perfect pink shade; this swatch was three applications to get a saturated pink color.
The Guerlain Les Tendres Collection for Spring 2015 is available now in department stores including Nordstrom, Sephora and at Guerlain.com. Will you be picking up anything from the collection? Let me know in the comments!
