Disney’s live-action movie, Cinderella, will be opening in theaters this week (March 13th). Every Disney movie release inspires collection after collection of movie merchandise tie-ins. Usually I pass them by; but Cinderella? That’s a different story! Take a peek at some of the Cinderella merchandise from beauty to fashions that will be tempting us to bring out our inner princess!
From M∙A∙C, the Cinderella Collection is my favorite of all the releases. No one does the theming better than M∙A∙C and the Cinderella collection is no exception. Although most of this collection has already sold out, the standout piece is the Cinderella ‘Stroke of Midnight’ Eye Shadow Palette. M∙A∙C has done amazing collaborations with Disney before. Remember Maleficient? And of course, Venomous Villains?
Morgan Taylor nail lacquer has it’s own Cinderella-inspired collection of six whimsical creme-to-sparkly nail polishes (there are also 9 Gelish gel shades available). My favorite in this collection is “If the Slipper Fits” ($8.50), a pale blue glitter, reminiscent of the shade of Cinderella’s ball gown. You can find this limited-edition collection at morgantaylorlacquer.com. Check out the fab nail art, too!
At Kohl’s, the Disney’s Cinderella a Collection by LC Lauren Conrad has pieces that we could easily incorporate into our wardrobe. This Organza Bow-Back Dress ($80) is so pretty for Spring; it could also easily be worn for special occasions. You can find the entire collection at your nearest Kohl’s or Kohls.com.
Perhaps the most spectacular of all the releases is the Cinderella designer shoe collection, sold exclusively in the United Sates at Saks Fifth Avenue. The “If The Shoe Fits” collection in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products features nine luxury shoe brands, including Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, Salvatore Ferragamo and six others. The collection of shoes reimagines Cinderella’s iconic glass slipper. To place special orders, customers can email the Saks Fifth Avenue representatives at email@example.com.
“Cinderella,” Disney’s first-ever live action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, will be released in theatres on March 13th. It stars Lily James, Richard Madden, Academy Award®-winner Cate Blanchett and Oscar®-nominee Helena Bonham Carter and is directed by Academy Award®-nominee Kenneth Branagh. I’ll definitely be seeing this release, will you?
