The YSL Summer Look for 2015 draws its inspiration from the far land of Marrakech, a city where summer lives forever. Channeling the spicy colors of Morocco, the collection highlights glowing skin with the introduction of Le Teint Sahariennes Blur Perfector, along with an eye palette that radiates warmth and bright shades for lips and nails.
The YSL Saharienne Summer Look 2015 includes:
Le Teint Saharienne Blur Perfector ($55), a multi-tasking balm-powder that gives you the glow of a bronzer with the blur-perfecting qualities. In a word? Fabulous! Available in 7 shades, since I plan to use this on a daily basis, I purchased shade 03 Epice, a medium shade. The variations between shades are subtle; if you want to use this more to contour, I’d suggest going to a deeper shade.
Le Teint Saharienne literally melts into your skin, erases skin imperfections and gives a flawless, airbrushed, matte finish. It dries to a powdery finish within seconds of application. I am hoping YSL with come out with this in matching Touche Eclat shades, because I’m obsessed. A dual-sided brush is included; use the sponge end for contouring or the brush side for sheer application/bronzing. Don’t hesitate – you need this!
Couture Palette Collector – N°12 Mauresques ($60) features five intense shades of eyeshadow in rich, warm tones.
Baby Doll Kiss and Blush ($40) in Corail Incandescent (poppy coral), which can be used on lips or cheeks.
Saharienne Gloss Volupte ($32) in 50 Orange Sagatte (golden orange) or 107 Bordeaux Sarouel (deep burgundy).
Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils Shocking Eyeliner ($34) has a bold tip felt tip in 2 Majorelle Blue, 3 Deep Blue or 4 Deep Green.
Saharienne La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer ($27) in 61-Brun Henne or 62 Jaune Babouche.
The YSL Saharienne Summer Look for 2015 is available now in department stores, including Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, as well as online at yslbeautyus.com. This is such a beautiful summer collection, it’s really hard to resist. Le Teint Saharienne Blur Perfector is not to be missed; I may have to go back for the Palette and the Gloss Volupte, which I can never resist.
