Beauty lovers everywhere have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Dior Cosmopolite Fall 2015 Makeup Collection; the first full collection from Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior. First making it’s debut in the Fall-Winter 2015 Ready to Wear Show, this is an intense and graphic look interpreting a palette of deep autumnal shades.
The Fall Cosmopolite collection focuses on a graphic eye with the introduction of new metallic fluid eyeshadow/liners, new stick blushes and of course, sophisticated nail colors.
The Dior Cosmopolite Fall 2015 Makeup Collection includes:
5 Couleurs Cosmopolite Palette in 866 Electric and 766 Exuberante, $63
Dior Addict Fluid Shadow in 825 Aurora, 275 Cosmic, 875 Destinee, 025 Magnetic, 545 Phenix and 655 Univers, $32
Diorblush Cheek Stick Velvet Colour Creme Blush in Cosmopolite Coral, Cosmopolite Pink, Cosmopolite Rosewood, $34
Dior Addict Fluid Stick in 499 Avant Garde, 784 Chic and 289 Versatile, $35
Rouge Dior Lipstick in 753 Continental, 542 Nouvelle Femme and 956 Unique, $35
The colors in the Dior Cosmopolite Fall Collection are bold and intense. At the Dior Fall-Winter 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection runway show, Peter Philips created a very strong graphic look. Above, he applied the deep navy color from the Exuberante 5 Couleurs Palette in a dense block across the upper eyelid. I’m not sure I could pull it off, but it gorgeous. You’ll be seeing the graphic eye emerge as one of Fall’s key makeup trends.
If you’re not comfortable wearing a dramatic look, there are still plenty of possibilities. I’m most interested in the Cheek Stick Creme Blush (in Rosewood), the Rouge Dior Lipstick in Cosmopolitan and the Dior Vernis in Cosmopolite.
The Dior Cosmopolite Fall 2015 Makeup Collection is available in department stores including Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, and soon at Sephora (wasn’t there yet when I recently checked) and on Dior.com. What are you lemming? Let me know in the comments!
