For those with normal, oily or combination skin, finding the right skin care for the summer months can sometimes be a challenge. Heat, humidity, oil in the formula or any of those factors can leave skin a greasy mess. I’ve been using TATCHA Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel, and it makes a nice choice for summer skin.
TATCHA Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel is an oil-free, lightweight, liquid moisturizer that cools and refreshes skin. It’s like a cushion for the skin, and because it absorbs quickly, can be used prior to applying makeup in the morning, and/or at night, depending on your skin’s needs. The formula contains Japanese Wild Rose to help balance and clarify skin, as well as 23-karat gold to provide a bit of a glow.
TATCHA always has the most elegant presentation, and Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel is no exception. It comes in a pump bottle, and I’ve been using one pump in the morning and one at night. At first, it felt a bit sticky, but within minutes Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel completely absorbs into skin. It leaves a luminous, glowy finish. I didn’t experience any irritation at all; my skin has felt completely comfortable and well-hydrated.
If you’ve been searching for a good, oil-free moisturizer for summer, TATCHA Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel ($68, 1.7 oz.) won’t disappoint. You can find it in department stores including Sephora, Barneys New York and at TACHA.com. Have you tried any TATCHA products yet? They’re definitely a treat!
