It’s no secret that I love trying skincare, and recently I was introduced to pur~lisse, which stands for pure and smooth in French. pur~lisse is a line founded by Jennifer Yen that fuses asian wisdom and modern philosophy. I had heard good things about the pur~lisse line, so I was curious to try it.
Although pur~lisse skincare isn’t limited to a specific skin type, the products are formulated in such a way that sensitive skins will love it. I’ve been consciously trying to incorporate more “clean” beauty products and was pleased to learn that pur~lisse products are free of parabens, mineral oil, synthetic color/fragrance and are cruelty-free.
This time of year, as we transition our skincare towards colder weather, the gentle pur~lisse line is perfect. I tried a variety of pur~lisse products, and although I honestly liked every product I tried, my favorite pur~lisse products include:
The Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk is a light, nourishing cleanser formulated with antioxidants and amino acids, including White Tea, Soy Milk, Whole Oat and Blue Lotus. This is a nice, everyday cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin, yet thoroughly cleanses. It works well with my Clarisonic, too.
The Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum is probably my favorite product of all I tried. It’s helped with my dark circles, firms, brightens and is great at hydrating the eye area. The consistency is more like a thick lotion, as opposed to a serum. I am impressed with the formula, too. The Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum has Blue Lotus extract (an antioxidant) and anti-inflammatory, Matrixyl 3000 peptide complex for firming, Haloxyl for dark circles and puffiness. Highly recommend!
I’m a huge sheet mask fan, and both the Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment (renewing, nourishing and moisturizing) and the Blue Lotus + Seaweed Treatment (soothing & calming, balancing & restoring) Sheet Masks are like an infusion of moisture and hydration. I’ve taken both of the masks with me when I’ve traveled. I love relaxing with a sheet mask and then enjoying the glow afterwards. If you like, you can buy the sheet masks individually ($8) or in packs of 6 ($36).
Overall, I really like the pur~lisse line and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the products. It’s a good line for those with sensitive skins or anyone looking to change up their skin care routine. You can find pur~lisse skincare at Skinstore.com and at purlisse.com. Have you tried this line yet? I’d love to know your thoughts and favorites!
