Dior has introduced their first liquid lipstick…Rouge Dior Liquid. Executed by Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup Peter Philips, the Rouge Dior Liquid formula imparts vibrant color, comfortable wear and 12 hour coverage.

Rouge Dior Liquid comes in three distinct finishes: Matte, Metallic and Satin. There are a total of 29 shades. The lip stain formula is dreamy…thanks to the inclusion of moisturizing oils, it literally feels like a second skin on the lips, with excellent color saturation (although I’ve never met a Peter Philips creation lacking that) and long-lasting wear.

I tried a variety of shades from the Rouge Dior Liquid collection and I’ve found that the performance lives up to the hype. The colors are gorgeous and range from neutrals to classic Dior red to fashion forward shades, like Oxblood Matte (a deep chocolate shade; top row, far right above) and Fab Satin (shown directly above), my favorite shade in the entire collection. It’s a deep plum color that is a must-have for Fall. You also need Hologlam, a cyber silver shade that can be worn alone or as a topper.

Also new is Rouge Dior Double Rouge; an innovative lipstick within a lipstick that combines two trends…matte and metallic. The inside metallic core catches the light to create the illusion of volume. The outer matte lipstick is intensely pigmented. The effect? A foolproof, new take on ombré! Rouge Dior Double Rouge is available in 8 shades.

Application of the Rouge Dior Double Rouge lipsticks is easy…just place the bullet against the center of the mouth with the outer edge hugging the contour of the lip and swipe. No liner, no blending, no color matching—just perfectly balanced, fuller-looking lips with every application. Like Rouge Dior Liquid, the formula is comfortable with high impact. My favorite shade is Poison Purple.

Rouge Dior Liquid and Rouge Dior Double Rouge Lipsticks are available now in department stores including Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Dior.com. Treat yourself for Fall!
