One collection I’ve fallen in love with over and over is the CHANEL Les Beiges Collection. This sheer, nude makeup collection is inspired by natural beauty. It’s an effortlessly chic look, perfect for summer.

Of all the CHANEL releases throughout the year, other than holiday, Les Beiges is my favorite. It’s pretty, glowy; the epitome of you, but better. Who can resist that? This year’s release brings about more shade variants, with more medium and deep offerings. Although Le Vernis nail shades weren’t released with this collection, I pulled out one of my summer classics, Turban, and it pairs nicely!

The CHANEL Les Beiges pieces that I tried include:

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette [Deep]: This was my first experience trying the Healthy Glow 5-pan Eyeshadow Palette. I tried the Deep shade, which is a mix of neutrals, including taupe, gold (shimmer), bronze (shimmer), light and deep brown. Gorgeous! The shadows are silky, blend well and the shimmers add a beautiful radiance that catches the light. It really sets off my blue eyes; definitely a new favorite.

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Multi-Colour Powder [Medium]: This sheer powder features a harmony of luminous shades to illuminate the skin. The pearlescent and mineral pigments impart a sheer, radiant glow. The effect is subtle, and to diffuse the color, I used a large fluffy brush to apply (the brush included in the compact just doesn’t pick up enough product). The Medium shade is warm-toned, and shows up a bit peachy on me. This is a beautiful powder for summer!

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm [Deep]: This is a tinted lip balm with good pigmentation, a nice shine and sheer color. It’s very hydrating, and lasts quite a long time. The Deep shade shows up as berry-plum on me, which I love. There are two other shades, Light and Medium, both of which I’ll be ordering and wearing all year around.

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in No. 25. While you might think that this year’s cream blush stick, is too much color, I’m asking you to give it a chance. No. 25 is a bright watermelon shade that absolutely blends out beautifully, for a sheer, healthy flush of color. I have No. 21 from a previous collection, and by comparison, that’s more coral. This cream formula is exceptional, and trust me, you’ll be wearing this all summer!

Also in this year’s collection is Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Moisturizing Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 30. I don’t have it, but am planning to pick it up, as I’m hoping that it’s a cross between the discontinued Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid (a holy grail for me), with the finish of Vitalumière Aqua. I’ll have to reserve judgement on this one until I can see it and try it myself.

The CHANEL Les Beiges Collection is available in department stores and on It’s a beautiful collection that isn’t only for summer; since the look is neutral, you can definitely wear these pieces all year around.
