If you’re like me, you probably have more than a few foundations. I have a wardrobe of textures (liquid, cushion, stick), depending on what look I’m going for, how long I want to spend on my makeup or sheer convenience. That’s where Maybelline’s new Super Stay® Multi-Use Foundation Stick comes in.

I’ve always been about products that do double-duty, but Maybelline takes that up a notch. The Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick does triple duty! It provides coverage as a foundation, concealer and a contour.

I’ve had the opportunity to try out the Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick, and think it’s a worthwhile addition to your makeup bag. As a stick foundation, you can’t beat the convenience. I apply a stick foundation only on the areas where I need to even out skin tone. The cream-to-powder formula blends well (it feels great going on!) and has buildable coverage, from medium to full. Wear time averaged about 6-8 hours (not using a primer or setting spray). For foundation application, I didn’t find the sponge to be a particularly effective applicator, so I used an Artis Oval 6 brush for better results. The overall finish on my skin was semi-matte. There are 16 shades in the range; my shade is 220, Natural Beige.

I see myself using this product mostly when I travel, as it eliminates the need to grab a separate concealer and contour. I generally don’t compare prices, but it’s interesting that the Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick (.25 ounce, $11.99) has the same amount of product as in the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick, which retails at $46. The MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra-HD Stick Foundation has .44 ounce for $43. You can’t beat Maybelline for value!

You can find the Maybelline Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick at ULTA, Target, Amazon and in drug/discount stores nationwide. For a comprehensive comparison of other popular stick foundations, check my post here.
