It’s that time of the year where the dry, winter air is wreaking havoc with our skin. Thankfully, First Aid Beauty is out with new skincare products to get us through.  Best known for their Ultra Repair Cream (one of my favorites!), these new First Aid Beauty products are set to fight dull, dehydrated skin.

Winter in the midwest can be brutal on your skin, trust me. The air is cold and dry, and it saps the life out of your complexion. I’m seeing a difference with Ultra Repair Barriair Cream. It has a light, whipped texture; I’d call it mousselike. The formula has everything you’d want for long-lasting hydration, including triple hyaluronic acid, colloidal oatmeal (for soothing), plus ceramides and linoleic acid to help strengthen the skin barrier. If you’ve got sensitive skin, no worries; you can use Ultra Repair Barriair Cream. This moisturizer can be used twice a day.

I’m constantly on the lookout for a great eye cream and the new Retinol Eye Cream is definitely worth a look! I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and I’m very happy with it. I’m always careful with eye creams that have retinol in them, because of the potential for drying. But First Aid Beauty has solved that issue, using microencapsulated retinol for a gentle, sustained release. I haven’t experienced any drying or sensitivity with this Retinol Eye Cream, and I love the anti-aging benefits. Also in the formula is triple-weight hyaluronic acid; it keeps the delicate eye area hydrated without drying it out. Definitely impressed!

Coming soon is Ultra Repair Cannabis & Oat Dry Oil. It seems like cannibis-related products are riding a wave right now. While this Dry Oil contains Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, that doesn’t contain anything that will make you high, it will calm skin. The formula also includes colloidal oatmeal, known for it’s soothing properties, Arnica Montana Flower extract, Borage Seed Oil and 16 cold-pressed active botanicals. In my use, I found this dry oil to absorb quickly. It doesn’t feel greasy, however there is a slight antiseptic scent that dissipates a few moments after application. Available in February.

You can find these products in Sephora and Ulta, and at Have you tried any First Aid Beauty products? What’s your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
