Most of us owe our obsession with neutral palettes to Urban Decay. Once again, they have reinvented and redefined neutrals with the release of the Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette. Coming on the heels of New York Fashion Week, where bold looks ruled, this palette will be the perfect makeup accessory.
As always, the past year has seen its’ share of brands releasing neutral palettes. Makes sense; a neutral eyeshadow palette is a good investment. But even within “neutral”, you want a variety of shades and textures that produce multiple looks, adding to it’s versatility. That’s what I feel the Naked Reloaded Palette offers. And to get the most out of your makeup look, start with Eyeshadow Primer Potion and finish with a spritz of All Nighter Setting Spray.
The Naked Reloaded Palette is a warm-toned palette, with 12 eyeshadow shades in 6 matte and 6 shimmer metallic finishes. Also new for this version, the Naked Reloaded Palette has four eyeshadow tablets that are larger than the others. Wende at Urban Decay has rightly figured out that these are the shades we’ll be using the most…and hitting pan on first. For those loving this year’s color of the year, Living Coral (read more here), you’ll be happy to see Retro, a pretty coral shade, in the palette. The pigmentation and color payoff in this palette is good, as is the blendability. One difference with Naked Reloaded is that there is no brush included.
