Just as Memorial Day marks the unofficial start to summer, the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection is one of my summer beauty traditions. This season, the Bronze Goddess Collection brings the heat, with a new eyeshadow palette and mineral-infused matte bronzers.
Key pieces from the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection include:
NEW Bronze Goddess Desert Heat Eye Palette: This is one of the most beautiful warm-toned palettes I’ve seen for the summer season. There are a total of 9 eyeshadows in matte and shimmer textures. The matte shades have excellent color payoff and pigmentation. The shimmer shades are super pretty; not over-the-top glitters. The glowy finish works nicely with the matte shades. Even without a primer, I didn’t experience creasing, and fallout on the shimmers was little to none. Love!
Ultimate Mineral-Infused Matte Bronzer in four shades:
- 01 – Halo (lightest shade, bottom left)
- 02 – Suggestive (medium, bottom right)
- 03 – Brazen (medium deep, top left)
- 04 – Hot Spell (deep, top right)
The Ultimate Mineral-Infused Matte Bronzers are a dream, offering creamy, buildable color that lasts all day. I’ve been applying with a big fluffy brush and using the lightest shade as a finishing powder. I actually prefer a matte bronzer in the summer, as I like adding a highlighter separately. A sunburst design is imprinted onto the tablet; a perfect finishing touch for this sun-kissed bronzer.
Although there aren’t any lipsticks in the Bronze Goddess Collection, I’ve picked out shades that I feel would pair well with the Desert Heat Eye Palette, including (front row, left to right) Pure Color Envy Metallic Matte Lipstick in Copper Foil, Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Naked Desire, and Bare Instinct; (back row) Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Inescapable, and for a bold look, Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick in Volatile.
